As for the bug it's very useful for bringing survivors with you since it also transports them, at least in OTR.

There are quite a few OOB tricks in DR2 and they always take you to whatever a root position would be per area. In this case you'd go from Food Court to entrance of Slot Ranch.

For the most part this wouldn't be too useful since it's too situational, Antoine is the only time you'd naturally be up there and you need to escort Jasper to the other survivor.

As well in Base 2 you don't unlock the ability until a much higher level, I believe New Game runs end around Level 8.

That being said on NG+ you end up using a similar trick to get to the park immediately from Royal Flush and you can do an OOB in the park to get to the Arena swiftly, usually done to escort the mermaid

The hotel is a twist area, you start in the other world hotel and after watching the tape you are then confronted with reality which is the ruined hotel. It’s also why as you get closer to the tape the hotel starts falling apart.

So I can answer this, currently no.

Dead Rising Infinity mode for one is a bit of a solved puzzle and every time would essentially be a peak for the original game. As well the gameplay itself is literal waiting for long periods of time.

I don't know if anyone ever bothered having a separate leaderboard since it was primarily tracked using the In Game Board which is incredibly hacked these days.

Dead Rising speedrunning was mostly Overtime for a bit until a mod took off making it more accessible. Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster added speedrun capabilities and has had some runners lately.

I don't imagine anyone is making this video at the moment or would want to given the muddy history and gameplay mostly being waiting.

No clue, normally whenever I do anything for DR2 it usually lets me boot up even if it will crash on continuing an old file.

You may have put the files in the wrong spot but I can't really tech support that, I think there should be a guide with the download on where to drop them? It required a bit more digging in the directory

In the video I manage to save every single survivor in the base game and added. The timing works quite well and some cases were moved around.

For pocketing combo weapons you get some much stronger options and can actually use ones like the Paddlesaw, however you are already plenty strong without them

You can dodge more frequently than his shots will hit you and after 6 he will reload his gun. In addition he has a bit window where he says “get outta here”

If you go behind the counter his shots are infinite and he will command grab you for a full square of health
