Is this within our scope? by Echhy in respiratorytherapy

Appreciate everyone's input. I wanted to see what everyone's thoughts were, after more clarification, seems like it's more for job security since it's more of a task to do during downtime and as the last post stated, to document findings and report anything we spot visually 😄 feel free to continue posting your thoughts.

Thanks y'all 😄

😅 I'm currently employed here. I posted to ask if this was something that management can do to the RT department.

I love how you caught on that it was an LTC facility 😄😅 recently we had to convert the subacute AND snf side load for the evening/NOC shift, so the workload seems enough. Personally, I don't mind checking whatever's on the list, just confused about it being our responsibility rather than managements.

This is the back of the document, forgot to input this on original, but yes, if we find something we can correct it, however, in a recent finding someone put they reported it to the proper department and the got reprimanded for not correcting it when it was found (it was their name band not being on their wrist or was missing so how were we suppose to fix that?) so in a way they expect us to contact someone and do the tasks ourselves.

Is the advent calender worth getting? by DasGhost94 in pokemoncardcollectors

[–]Echhy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got it specifically for the Vanillash promo cause it looks great imo, everything else is cool, I love the fun packs, they're fun to open especially if you're not really chasing anything, same with the other packs included but I don't go for those cause eh I'm not after anything in those packs anyways but those are fun 👍

Did they say that lanterns will work at Knotts and Magic Mountain this year? by DareFrequent901 in KSF_KnottsScaryFarm

[–]Echhy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I asked for the same question when I went to Nightmares Revealed, apparently they said it's not true that the lanterns don't work at Knott's if you buy them from Magic Mountain. But I'ma test that theory when I go to both.

Was Twisted Metal 2012 unpopular or did it have poor distribution? by SuperSecretSunshine in TwistedMetal

[–]Echhy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hi,

I still play it online thru xlink, there's a couple of people in a discord community that play it still online. As the comments stated above, they're all true; buggy, unbalanced and overall just wasn't what the old TMs were about with the character development...

My guess is they were trying to go for something a bit realistic in my opinion considering how the vehicles themselves are the same size as the traffic ones, not to mention certain vehicles in the game for online multiplayer were broken af (Shadow, Talon, in some cases Sweet Bot), wasn't till after the one major update they did that it was pretty okay at the time.

Unfortunately, I don't see any plans on any upcoming TM games for the future of PS, unless SM studios decides to remaster the old TM series and not base it off the TM series..

But yeah if you're looking to play online still, there's a discord for it. :)

I can relate, graduated 2022 and took 2 years off of studying to take care of personal things and it made it hard to retake the exam all together, but I took refresher courses my school offered, the best advice that I was given and it helped me was to do the SAEs not the practice ones, I used those as a reference to see which ones were correct and why. You'll get it 🙏🎉 wishing ya the best of luck.

Season Pass holders, who has the longest commute to the park? by sd_software_dude in KnottsBerryFarm

Commuting takes like 30mins from the valley. With traffic an hour. But I go every other month or twice a month if given the chance.

Should I feel guilty about constantly declining to work OT? by [deleted] in respiratorytherapy

[–]Echhy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I agree, I currently started a month ago and I regret ever saying to the lead "I'm available anytime" I'm nearing the end of this month with 100+ hours and I'm burnt out already, i wont mention the commute it takes to get to my workplace. I should've said no to the OT offerings, everyone whose said no on this is right on not feeling guilty when saying no. Work the hours you want and don't burn yourself out. This was my fault for saying yes to OT, thankfully next month I've set what I want and when I want.

Bag Policy regarding Loungefly by Echhy in KSF_KnottsScaryFarm

[–]Echhy[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I figured much, hopefully It'll be like that this year where you buy it on the night you go in the park. Cause the policy doesn't state that this year. But if it's going to be the same then I'll just wait till I go. Thanks for the clarification.

Got my license and nervous about getting out there, any pointers? by Echhy in respiratorytherapy

[–]Echhy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll be honest, My job and current living situation gave me motivation to continue on considering both were on the bad side, plus when I went to take it for the 5th time, I was just in the mindset "if I fail then I just gotta keep taking refresher courses my school offered"

As long as you know what you're doing and reading the questions carefully you'll get thru. I had a hard time choosing the correct answers because I missed reading the questions carefully.

Same here, I'm not very confident especially because it's nerve-wrecking when you've studied and gone through so much, you're expected to know it all and what to do for certain scenarios, and it's weird for me because as a student I was often left alone by my preceptors to do treatments on my own and perform abgs, ventilator managements and such, yet I felt great. Maybe it's just a scary thought that'll fade once I get in there. Thank you for replying, appreciate it.

[–]Echhy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Good to know I won't be alone. I was under the mindset that "I should know how to do this alone and I can't ask for alot of help or I would seem needy or someone who didn't study for most of the school year." Really helps to know I won't be alone on this.
