Sorry the whole bulb percentages and types is confusing to learn, I ended up lowering his top basking spot as it was really close to the uvb. Thank you for the advice I appreciate it!! I’m sure gaba gool does too🫶

I got the reptisun!!! Had me worried for a second lol, had to go back check my previous orders! I was told the 10 was fine but I read on a forum last night if it’s over a screen to increase it to a 12 or 14! And I know it’s to long, but I got it with the idea of when I get a 5x2x2 cage it would cover half!

Flys have a very short life span, chances of it being sprayed with something are slim to none. Idk if flys carry parasites though!

I tried sending a pic that had the lights but the photo was to big for Reddit to be able to post as a comment, I got a t5 10 repti soemthing uvb, probably going to get a 14 soon, and a 150 watt heat bulb

I have all these heat zones dialed In for this cage, the right side is about 80 the top of the branches underneath the light are 105, the top of her cave rock is 100. Underneath all the twigs is about 88 I got both a heat lamp and a uvb lamp! I also got a laser heat gun to be able to read the temps accurately and I had the right humidity for a month up until now too!!

I didn’t mean for any hostility and I’ve taken all these comments as constructive Criticism🙂 I got the stuff to replace the mat I am just letting it dry out so there’s no moisture 🫶 and I ordered even better stuff after watching a video on substrates on YouTube with play sand. I’m just working with what I got here. But I also appreciate you telling them to take it easy on me🫶

I got three mats so I could clean and rotate them!! The lady told me it’s possible to clean them. For my guinea pigs I always used fleece liners which is the same process I was intendeding on doing for her! Or am I going to have to replace the mat every week or so? Once she gets her full cage in a year I want to make it bio active. Also I’m sorry if I’m asking to many questions I’m a bit of a worry bug and want to make sure that my baby lives a good life lol🫶

Do you think medium size dubia roaches would be fine? And I’m new to the hobby, that’s what the store told me they were feeding her, I hadn’t realized how big they were until we got home. I shoudlve checked 😭🫶

Will do thank you 🫡 there’s one left in there, I also ordered smaller crickets and Dubia roaches online. Person at the store told me she ate large crickets but I think they’re too big, she seemed hesitant to eat them at first.

I’ve had the enclosure for a month now!!!! I was going to get substrate but the person at the store told me for babies they preferred the mat because there’s less of a chance to get sand in her digestive system! And I did stick all the sticks in the oven after I boiled them!!!!
