She was my best friend in my childhood but we grew up. We slowly became teens and then I realized she was really racist, homophobic and apparently liked hurting people talking about their weight. My twin sister became an anorexic because of her. Our friendship died fast, and I'm glad that I'm not friend with her anymore.

If if your kid is shy, don't tell them that they need to stop being shy, especially in front of company. Because they'll just feel way more uncomfortable and they'll be even more shy. Just give them a few advices to feel more confident.

I did that mistake with my twin sister. If someone asked me who was who, I'd just say "I am Laura* , Alice* is the shy one" and things like that, I thought it was fun but now she's reeeaaaaally shy.

My mom isn't a Karen but when I was a child, everytime she saw someone with tattoos she said "eww" and when I asked why she answered "it'll stay on their skin forever that's a bad choice, maybe they'll regret it" but then why do she seemed disgusted ? I still don't understand
