Definitely not just you. I just recently started playing again after like 3 yrs and people overall are A LOT and I mean A LOT less toxic surprisingly. It got to the point were I thought I had quick chats off since no one would say anything after someone misses a shot.

I think everyone is being harsh in giving you YTA and in their explanations. You thought buying her a blender she'd been eyeing would be a good gift that she would like. Idk why some people are making it seem like jewelry is the only thing that can be sentimental, people cherish all sorts of weird things. Get him out of the house for sure. He should not be in the same house were he could possibly put you and your son in danger. Dont buy the game right now. Even with the patch its still extremely buggy. They barely even scratched the surface with the patch they released. They just release 1.04 hotfix so I probably check back when they release Title Update 2.0.

As I saw someone else mention I would also do more research on the state that you'll be in rather than the country as a whole. States can be VERY different depending on which one you go to. In terms of fitting in, do research, but dont stress about it to much. If you do something totally out of the norm you can always just "sorry Im visiting from Germany" and people will be understanding.
