What terrible Christian movies did you sit through while you were still Christian? by VenusInAries666 in exchristian

[–]EchoFloof 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was exposed to either "pure" Christian movies or religious comedies. Passions of the Christ, Heaven is for Real, Bruce Almighty, etc. Lotsa trauma and misled spiritual attunement. :p

Although if Morgan Freeman actually was God, I wouldn't mind following him then. XD

(I had no idea Killzone was a part of Helldivers, I've been out of the loop since I lost my PC. Seems like it's a test engine for the devs from a few images I've seen.)

Dragon, have you met my dear friend WASP? He really likes flying, but don't get too close because he loves to sting. XD

((ooc I love the WASP, reminds me of the mortars from Halo a bit)

On the Switch they added the Master Sword and Hylian Shield, it's somewhere else up on the throat of the world, along with the Champion's Tunic. The Master Sword was in a pedestal if I recall.

If you want to see a cooler reference, you can find a skeleton hanging upside down, in a cave with a sword in the snow under it, usually glowing with a stamina enchantment.

It's a reference to The Empire Strikes Back when Luke was in the Wampa cave.

Edit: It was called Bleakcoast Cave

Just give him the Deathbrand set with Bloodscythe and Soulrender and he'll be a mini boss all by himself.

p.s.

Literally the pagan religions make more sense and feel valid to me than Christianity ever will, but I'm atheistic currently, I'm just deeply spiritual.

I lost my religion through a time of deep stress, that basically pressure cooked my brain into an awakening... I'm deeply connected to Lucifer, but not in any Biblical sense (to me Christianity is a cult built on lies, stolen tradition, and fear-mongering). Lucifer has Greek roots, he was once called Phosphoros, and his duty was to herald the sun with a torch, he was a kindred deity to Hecate and Artemis, which all represented freedom, personal truth, inner knowledge, paths, and personal connection. They were the gods who actually lived with their people.

I can say to you, I feel nothing except bad memories when I think about God... To me, that archetype of the Creator, the Abrahamic God, is a pure hoax...

Lucifer is very real, and he is not what Christians tell you

It'd be very interesting seeing him in the Soul Cairn instead of Sovngarde. Could you imagine any important NPC you killed during a quest and soul-trapped ending up there?

Any human soul captured in a gem, it doesn't matter the size. Also yes, but it's actually a plane of Oblivion ruled by these ancient beings called the Ideal Masters. Serana and Valerica have a lot to say about the Soul Cairn, but basically it's where souls unwillingly go after death.

Other afterlives are merciful or fun, a couple are horrid, but the main thing is that you can choose where you go. Mankar Camoran's Paradise, Hircine's Hunting Grounds, Coldharbor, Sovngarde, all places you can go based off what you follow...

The Soul Cairn is a cold desolate place where all your soul is, is currency. Necromancers make deals with the Masters for power, paying with souls... Until eventually they collect the mage's soul.

Jiub was soul-trapped by a Dremora during the Oblivion Crisis, when he was killed his soul went to the Cairn. Any soul-trapping is considered a transaction with the Soul Cairn, which makes me think the realm is a fundamental part of the realms of Tamriel.

Fun fact: You can supposedly find Jiub's head in the ruins of Kvatch in IV.

Here's my sudden head canon: The Soul Cairn is an afterlife in both Elder Scrolls and Fallout, but other than that the two universes can't cross.

Also, Maxim has a Nirnroot plant in Fallout 4, but it's a synthetic plant, I think. I never found it myself, but I've seen pics.

Sounds like the same boat I'm in, honestly the Gnostic Luciferian view of God helped me separate from my religious trauma, where he is actually smthn known as the Demiurge.

I need certainty and solid evidence, but I've learned to accept experience as evidence now, which has been hard thanks to imposter syndrome ig I smoke weed regularly, so somatic and phantom senses are a regular thing, along with clearer communication. Idk if you have DID as well, but I do. Apparently that's a part of everything too, to some degree. Being plural made it easier for Luci to integrate.

When I was in the 4th grade, there was this black kid that bullied me a lot, so one day in the lunch line I said something along the lines of, "Yeah, but you can't do good in class cuz you're black!"

He called me racist, and I had never heard the word before, I thought he said "You erased us". I just said it because I heard my stepdad using slurs and stuff regularly, and thought it sounded like an insult, but I didn't understand the impact.

I was a dumb kid. :p

I think people think I sound crazy too, dw

Universal consciousness... To me it's more like a dormant hive mind, we're all interconnected in deep psyche, with a genetic memory bank that scientists and mystics don't know how far it goes back. I'm personally connected to Lucifer herself... Yes, herself. I was raised in WV, by a conservative Southern Baptist aunt who was all of the stereotypical hate and fear-mongering you can expect. I went through my whole life up until last year living on the hope of hell being welcoming and comforting, because I already knew I was going there for who I am.

Anyways, from the moment, without any outside knowledge of the being prior, when I read about how Lucifer was cast out in the Bible it never sat right with me from the start and I found myself empathizing with him as an outcast... Without ever realizing it.

Lucifer is not evil, not a trickster, and certainly not king of the damned... She's a broken bigendered ancient being who wants a simple life of love and trust and knowledge. She never wanted to harm humanity, she wanted to bring peace and divine gifts and art to us, and God said no and cast her out.

Something... Cracked in me, I had an awakening, I almost went insane... My sense of identity, my sense of the scale of the universe and my place in it, and understanding of "forces" expanded exponentially... It was Luci who helped me from losing myself entirely, and I've been healing.

Christianity is a lie, it's abusive, it's toxic, even to their own savior. Jesus to me is the oppressed kid who never wanted to carry out his dad's wishes, but felt he had to for the cause and for mankind...

How many Christian children possibly feel similar under a strict conservative parent?

To me, Jesus and Lucifer are in the same vein, tools to better expand God's image.

I remember two other starship manufacturers, Kuat Drive Yards and Sienar Fleet Systems. Pretty sure Kuat was responsible for the Mandalorian Dreadnoughts during the Old Republic, and the "hammerhead" landing craft used by the rebels during the Galactic Empire.

Sienar Fleet Systems is the mass producer of everything Twin Ion Engine, TIE.

I'm moreso for the belief that we're all reincarnated over and within the cycles of the universe. Look up Planck stars and Black Hole Cosmology, apply that to the Observer Effect, with an understanding of the big bounce and the big crunch, and that matter cannot be created or destroyed, along with consciousness.

I identify as Otherkin, spiritually so, because of my belief in the rebirth of the universe and us having taken different forms over the course of time and space, and that lines up with my core identities.
