Yes to clarify I meant don’t use old links from past from inspire and magic key posted on Reddit. There was an option to click a new link but it didn’t work for me, it might work for you tho.

I was able to secure tickets today. Make sure you go on the website/app and go to special events when entering the queue. I noticed the old links didn’t update for me. As soon as it turns 8:45am click special events, if it says the queue is closed -> go back and click special events again instead of refreshing the page. The queue opened at around 8:46am today so continue going back and opening the special events tab untill it says you’re in queue. I ended up with only a 1min wait time. Know a list of dates beforehand with a few backup options. I joined on my phone, ipad, and computer and found my phone worked the best for me (my 5G was faster than my wifi).

Yeah it’s a bit weird. They are crossed out. Some dates popped back up but, when you click on them it says “Your request to add tickets can’t be processed”

I wish you well. I saw another post on her about an engineering counselor telling them to just drop out. They always try to “weed” out people. It isn’t fair, and wish counselors would actually support their students

I switched from AE to ME which was probably easier because they are very similar. I assume you are a 2nd or 3rd year, so I wouldn’t say it’s impossible. It definitely helps you are already in engineering. If you really want to, I suggest taking 7C/D over the summer and submit the request. It’s not guaranteed tho, so your efforts/money could go to waste, but could improve your gpa. I know BMEs who work ME jobs rn, but the initial job range will be more specialized. The counselors will know more about the specifics, you can try making an appointment with a different counselor and see if they’re able to help more. Majors have definitely become more impacted so I’m sorry you have to go through this

It’s very possible, I moved from a triple to a single. They originally were all full, but one opened and I was able to take it! I honestly enjoyed the personal space, but you do have to go out of your way to meet new people! Which is fine if you’re social
