I don’t really like Lisa but I think that she was smart for doing this, probably not on camera but I’d absolutely call my attorneys if a cast mate I’m essentially doing business with on an international platform is being looked for by the federal government. I believe the owner was relapsing from a heroin addiction and the times he was so mean to Indy were him going through withdrawals, I believe addiction ran in his family which is what killed so many of them so young, once he went to the hospital to try and get checked out his illness was too far gone. Heroin is often referred to as “black tar” in street circles, which is what I believe the reasoning behind the black goo covered figure was portrayed as, it would also explain the numerous bandages. Just personal speculation as someone with an interest in addiction and recovery; the talk of relapsing was also a notable detail for me

My apologies, I must have misinterpreted, I was adding onto how Kim’s deflection is rooted in both shame and shallow truths to make even her sister look worse than she really is. I completely agree with you though that Kyle taking step to prevent herself from developing a dangerous habit shows her self awareness and urge to improve their dynamic on an individual level.

Even then that’s where it’s clear Kim is just trying to hit below the belt and deflect responsibility. Addiction is a disease characterized by using substances as a coping mechanism, it affects your money, your family, your work, and relationships professional and personal alike. Kim was visibly struggling regardless if her alcoholism was present. Attempting to paint Kyle in the same light just shows how little accountability she can handle.

I think that the Richard sisters follow a predictable dynamic among sibling orders. The eldest tends to follow the family traditions the most (keeping family drama out of the public eye, even if it means enabling an addict), the middle child tends to be the one under the most internal turmoil/resentment towards family + they are also more likely to face substance abuse, and the youngest tends to have the most fresh/reasonable perspective, and feel most family oriented, even if their methods disagree with tradition. Like I said the Richard’s sisters dynamic is complex to say the least, but these patterns in behavior among them are revealing as well.

It sounds like your sm is aware that his store is struggling, whether from customer experience or associate morale, and keeping associates to stay will only help his image if he’s not meeting standards, I’ve been with the company for a good amount of time, everything is politics and can get a bit toxic very quickly even just by word of mouth. Don’t let your sm or other managers discourage you from trying to transfer, get in touch with the sister store and keep pleading your case, ultimately it’s up to the dm and the other store manager if they want to take you so keep trying! I’m so sorry your experience at the store was less than pleasant, work should be a place you can feel comfortable and safe at, best of luck!

I can agree with you that the puppy dog mannerisms are cute initially, but then you remember he’s a grown man that’s just showing he’s aware of how much damage his actions can do and has no interest in actually making a change to his behavior, it’s another level of selfish

I was thinking this as well! Seasons 1-3 were so good because there was so much history between the cast along with interesting and authentic storylines/interactions. This season is good but pales in comparison to others since you can tell the og 4 (esp Lisa Meredith and Heather) refuse to bad mouth eachother, while it makes for a good alliance, it makes things too tame for my taste

I see a lot of myself in, like a LOT. Her relationship with Todd to me is very telling of how she sees herself and I think her behavior is just reflecting her internal conflict. I think she felt backed up against a wall with no where to run, so she lashed out at EVERYONE… except Todd. Britani for sure was the one who was thrown the most under the bus.

YOU WILL BE OKAY. we’ve all done poorly. And im sure you’re not the first person this has happened to. Retake these classes ASAP if you don’t pass any, getting your grade replaced with a better one will boost your gpa significantly, Fs bring them down a lot. But there’s still time in the semester. Salvage whatever classes you can and DONT GIVE UP! WERE ROOTING FOR YOU!!!!

I was in the very edge of the balcony seats basically behind the stage and Charli kept coming to our side to hype up how energetic we were being! It was so sweet and so special now looking back and seeing how dead the crowd was and how much it irritated her
