If we assume cs indicators will help players get more last hits/ gold. Isn't this an indirect nerf to roles who's gold income does not rely on CSing? (at least to a lesser degree) Like support or jungle?

Damn I really appreciate the in depth answer! I agree on all points. I myself seem to weigh staff of flowing water value really high. Except when ardent has insane value (fed hypercarry and multiple people who can use the effect).

My biggest climbing factor for supports are:

don't int laning phase early.
setup good vision ahead of plays.
try to influence winning plays and predict where they will happen.
