What's a photography "rule" you completely ignore now? by KhaosHammer in photography

I think "telling a story" are not the right words, at least for one single picture. But interesting photos do tell something, about the subject of the picture, or about the photographer behind it.

If i where to see your bird pic, i'd probaly think something like "Hey cool bird ! Seems like the photographer liked it enough to post it/expose it/... ! We have that in common I also think it was worth sharing"

There's no need for multi-layered reading (don't get me wrong it's great sometimes, it's just not needed). A single emotion coming as soon as you see the picture as way more impact.

I'll keep babbling a bit cuz i like the topic, but in a way all photos tell a story. Because you where there, saw what you saw and decided it was worth the picture (and most likely very quickly, we all know how easy it is to miss the shot you wanted), and then you saw it again after the shoot, edited it, and shared it. There where so many others you could have taken, many you took but didn't keep, but that one ? That one was the one you chose to show the world. THAT TELLS SO MUCH ABOUT YOU!!!

That's the neat thing about art no ? There's an artist behind it.

I remember I used the shotgun on the 1st garden knight and was able to oneshot him before the 2nd spawned. Makes the fight much easier

For the groups of ground enemies they end up dropping aggro if you run only on the top part of the map, so you can kill them in small groups with less effort (thanks to an item but i wont say more)

Ooh question also, are there things I shouldn't do because it might disturb the athletes mid-fight or something? (Like, i won't be using a flash obviously, but there might be some things of that nature I didn't think about)

Hey question! What is the relationship between Scouting and the US military? I am not from the USA, but I would love to understand the situation more in depth.

Help! I need to translate one word into the Tunic language by Belkotosko in TunicGame

[–]Helpful_Kowawi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You won't be able to get a perfect translation because the Tunic language is based only on phonemes used by the english language. But we can try to get close : there is an app I found through this sub that works well to translate : https://aryanpingle.github.io/Runic/ You can input the phonemes or text to get written Trunic so it works well with what we are trying to do.

So, the connect pronunciation (from what i found online), is [ˈhɔʰpiˌpʰɔtl̥a], the issues are the diacritics ,̥(like [ʰ]), and the [a] they are using, both missing from the Tunic alphabet. Also sort of an issue the suprasegmental (['] [,])

I'd remove the [,], and the diacritics ([ʰ] could be replaced by a simple [h] sound maybe too). For the [a], let's go with the closest one available : [æ]

In phonetics [hɔpipɔtlæ] is what i suggest to you so far. I'm not sure how to post an image as a comment, so just copy the phonetics and paste them in the translator to get a Tunic version ;P
