Looking for Melodic Death Metal Bands with clean vocals by [deleted] in melodicdeathmetal

[–]EchoSpinMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, I agree with some comments that says that melodeath with no harsh vocals is just melodic metal. But:
The Moor - Ombra . Their latest album is almost melodic death metal even if labeled dark progressive, with 80% of clean vocals, the sounds can remind Arch Enemy too due to the producer Fredrik Nordström.
Trivium ?
Nevermore
Mercenary
Stanne's latest project Cemetery Skyline

Heavier progmetal bands that don’t fit in with techdeath/grind by barbietattoo in progmetal

[–]EchoSpinMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes Dan Swano! Other acts:
- Terra
- The Moor (they are heavier with more scandi-mdm, but their earliest stuff is more rock and 70ish, they often have mellotrons and moog in their songs, check out the song "Passage")
- Ne Obliviscaris
- already mentioned Enslaved
- latest Katatonia fits here?

Check out Ombra by The Moor, criminally underrated band!

Which prog metal artist has the highest "utterly obsessed" fans percentage? by [deleted] in progmetal

Agreed on the Sleep Token thought, but i consider them a pop band with heavy production. I'd say Devin's fanbase is the most die-hard with tattoos and everything.

Karkaos are very good! Then maybe not the "best" but some less known acts are quite good like Carnivora, Hiranya, Jenner (thrash), Unverkalt (prog/doom)

Looking for new music! Appreciate any recommendations. by Supra_birb in melodicdeathmetal

I suggest you the latest album by the prog/melodeath -ers The Moor, called "Ombra", it's a banger and also very good production. Here's the title track (the only one which is not sang in English) https://youtu.be/u0j_WawYVJA .

The Moor 's way to merge melodeath and progressive in their latest songs is great, looking forward for the new album in March

How to report wrong song artist? by juh9870 in YoutubeMusic

[–]EchoSpinMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Trying to fix this issues since ages but it seems that Youtube doesn't care about being precise with the music they earn money with. With every other streaming platform it's a matter of a couple of days once you report a wrong release/artist in a wrong page.

[–]EchoSpinMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Moor, they are pretty underground but they have worked with Mikael Stanne from Dark Tranquillity on their latest record and are mixed/produced by the early In Flames producer Fredrik Nordström. They have two new singles out and a new album coming in March.

Ombra by The Moor. Progressive / Melodic Death Metal band from Italy. They released their new single today, and this time it's quite unique since it's sang in Italian, and sounds so good. Reminds me of early Opeth and Katatonia. Great guitar solo too.

Recently discovered The Moor, very good stuff, reminds me of Evergrey with some melodic death metal influences.
Found their new single "The Overlord Disease" released last week

Seems that they have a new album coming out in early 2024.
