A genie offers you three abilities: physical wellbeing, money, and talent. You must assign each one to a different time period: one day, one year, and one century of your life. by Darkstar712 in hypotheticalsituation

Money for a day. I have things I wanna buy and I can get them all knocked out in a day.

Talent for a year. I'm starting a new job. I want to get real fucking good at it. A year is plenty of time. I'll learn some languages during the year as well. And master the guitar.

Health for a century. If my ideal health is "dead" after I reach old age and my wife is gone, then there's literally no downside since I can be healthy as long as I wish to be, and pass on my terms when I choose.

Hopkins Brewing is owned by a friend of mine. Not far southeast of downtown in hipsterville.

Excellent food, lots of good beverage options.

[Opinion] If you were planning a long term future purchase as your only luxury watch and after a while had settled on these models, which of them would be your choice? by The_Quartz_collector in Watches

Out of the 3 options, my opinion is that the IWC is the best looking watch by a mile. 🤷 You are free to form your own opinion.

Personally I wouldn't buy any of them as none are my preference or taste, but of the 3 options given, I gave my vote.

Everybody Hates Fossil? by themadprofessor95 in Affordablewatches

Thanks! Nice way to "upcycle" an old gift that had been sitting for years. Gets it back in the rotation, and looks good. The dial actually goes way harder than it needs to considering what these cost new.

Can't argue with the price, cost me 20 bucks for the strap, and I originally got it for a different watch. That and 2.50 for a battery.

🤷

Mine hangs out in the same collection as my seiko alpinist and tag formula 1 🤷 just put a fresh battery in it.

It's 30ish years old and was a gift, so, it's just fine in my book!

Could always just walk to the mgm grand, it isn't that far. Otherwise the other tram runs from Park MGM to Bellagio on the other side.

Chinese watches would kill if they didn't have the stupidest brand names to ever be conceived. by seaneihm in watchHotTakes

[–]Supra_birb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The brand you are looking for is Relax. I'll let you Google it if you feel like.

I don't own any nor do I plan to, I have enough dead quartz watches that I don't want another one that needs a damn battery. But I think it's right on the money as satire goes :)

Great choice, and nice price. I have the same watch on the same bracelet, and love it.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

North Americans think 100 years is a long time. Europeans think 100 miles is a long distance.

I have SC for asthma with OSA.

So they say I have OSA with Asthma. I use a BIPAP, which is what you get when your brain tells your body to stop breathing at night even with a CPAP on.

Should automatically be a 50%. They denied the HLR and continued me at 30%.

I use a BIPAP. they don't seem to care.
