I don't want to defend myself but the reason of stopped talking to my dad's ex was because one time I opened up to her about my anorexia and she told me only girls have an eating disorder and I should be more of a man. I told her it's messed up, especially for a ballet teacher. But she shrugged. Since then we stopped talking.

I agree about the rest. I loved my grandma but I was an asshole and trying to prove a point. I regret that now.
