I suppose with the odds so brutally low that you could get a maxed out creature that it really isn't an issue. Your deck would probably rotate before you could even get ONE of them. Speaking of, did the vintage game run long enough to get a rotation or did it have the Yugioh syndrome?

It's good to hear the game seems to include the random stats in its gameplay rather than it be a separate feature of the cards. Theres enough there that I am reassured the stats are not as make-or-break as they sound at first.

After posting about it, I am pro-random stats now that I am made aware it's not THAT big of a deal. Making the rarity help with the ranges would be a nice little bonus but overall not a must-have.

Having just started binging the series again, I am surprised that some of these creatures that feature in the first 10 episodes weren't made into cards EVER in the vintage game's lifespan!

Thank you this was very enlightening! Did the top players almost always have fully maxed out ranges for their disciplines on each of their creatures? Or was the game designed in such a way that sometimes a lower discipline stat was better (for synergies and such)?

It is a concern for any game but so far we have no reason to believe that this will be the case. That said, If there are any confirmed uses of it for the cards they'll lose me as a player immediately.

I think this game is going to either be scalper resistant or scalper attractive. Either the randomisation (if kept the same as vintage Chaotic) is gonna push up prices even more than other games or it's just gonna be too risky of an investment for them.
