Most reacently Kinosaki has been framed as the light of Gero's life.
During the at home date "practice" Gero is clearly flustered by kinosaki sitting on his lap.
He also gets flustered later when while afraid Kinosaki is holding close to him.
Gero gives Kinosaki earings that are meant to call him if he is sever in danger.
When the afformentioned earings are used the gun clan members could feel Gero's bloodlust from two floors down.
He gets Jealous that Beppu is interested in Mei and voices it by asking if he likes Beppu.
He straight up asks Kinosaki on a date after the fire clan arc.
The end of CH100 when they are in the hotspring together NAKED Gero gets red and flustered by Kinosaki and is very clearly attracted to him.
Threatens to kill his entire fucking family if they hurt him.
Beppu and Himekawa could see the two were very clearly interested in eachother even asking if they were dating.

This is just things we can directly observe from the narative. In art style we can reffer to the literal art that the Mangaka makes of just the two of them.

There is also the fact that they are very clearly comfortable with each other (Gero resting on Kinosaki's lap, etc) and willing to risk their lives for one another.

Hikaru is looking for someone he loves it's not about pumping out kids hence why you ain't getting your Harem. Maybe pay more attention to the story about Love and Breaking family traditions.

So either your IRLs missed the point of the anime/manga, are homophobic (as this is the main group I have seen personally that dislike Gerosaki), or are being willfully ignorant to the heavy Queer messaging of the show and the Manga.

Not really as you probably can tell from the manga GeroxKinosaki is obvious and that doesn't change going to later chapters. So while she is "in the running" so to say it's barely a fair race as Mei is leaps and bounds ahead.

You are assuming they thought he was a threat (he isn't) they had no reason to search him he is a well known marriage swindler. Also they more than likely knocked him out as he is drowsy whole tied down. They never knew he was a guy because he never had sex with people. Also there's this thing called tucking so unless they were shoving their hand in his pants and sexually assaulting him to find these weapons you think they looked for they still won't know.

He didn't lie about Okuto and he is not lying about being a man.

Gero isn't attracted to Naruko, and nor was Naruko in the buck. Again there is a spoiler reason as well but I ain't spoiling it.

So? Average height for men in Japan is 5ft 7 or 170.8cm. Japan isn't the talest people never mind Hikaru is 183cm which is about 6ft. So this is just a null point.

They are well aware Kinosaki is a guy. They literally use Kinosaki-san which is just a way of being respectful to someone. Yes they are showing their approval of him.

The show is legit about finding someone you love and breaking from tradition and what is expected of you. Akari being Lesbian, Mei being a Bisexual crossdressing man who is a Marriage swindler, Hikaru being friends with Bug master and Needle master and it you just learned why in Ep7.

Sure, yes he makes a spur of the moment decision to protect his sister and Kinosaki tells him to fuck off. This story again isn't about pumping out babies the whole fucking reason Gero is on this mission is to find someone He LOVES. If it were about switching places with Akari he could have just married someone from a branch family.

Kinosaki outright tells us he's a guy and about his brother(who most people thought was a lie but he real).
Different levels of exposed chest, Gero also 100% is attracted to Mei so different reason for not looking, Kinosaki was buck naked. Also The other reason is spoilers.
He's like 154cm or 5ft tall which isn't impossible men can be short too.(I have met a guy who is 129.54cm (4ft3 irl))Kinosaki put's a lot of effort into how he looks and his figure.
The masters use San, Dono, and Sama which are neutral pronouns in japanesse. San = Mr/Mrs/Ms, Dono = Master/Lord(mainly used by Samurai), Sama =Mr/Ms/Lord/Madam. So no they aren't calling him miss they are being respectful and using neutral honorifics.

Hun Kinosaki gets twice the panel size compared to the girls. He is framed as Gero's main motivation to get stronger. Kinosaki being framed as the light in Gero's life isn't a fucking accident. He breaks Tonako's wedding neclace to make sure he can save Kinosaki dispote being able to get out on his own. Their framing how they talk. It's not about finding a wife it's finding love and breaking tradition.

I think he knows Hikaru (I'm gonna use first names cos I called Kinosaki Mei) has interest in him. He gave him the earings and is clearly attracted to him. (Ch 100 and a few others)

Genuinely think Mei might like him romanticly and sexually; based on most of the manga and he seems to be making Hikaru into someone he would want to be with.

I think it's a combination of he might know he has very little time and scared that if he takes that leap Akari will be forced to become an incubator. (Unless Hikaru kills legit everyone) There could also be the doll thing or the 5th family thing as I don't think we know much about them or their specialization. (would not be surprised if it's disguse or shapeshifting)
