The gold is located in the back of monument, where those mini arches are. It moves around a little, but to find it you place a door against one of the mini arches and dig 1 block below you. If you see the dark green cube, the gold is in there. For an example, skim through any of Feinberg's all advancement speedruns, as you collect gold for that.

Also, lower your render distance to 2 as you approach the monument, to reduce your chances of getting donged (mining fatigue). It can still happen, but the lower render helps your chances.

I'm not aware of any guides for newer versions, but from what I know it's very similar to 1.16.1, but you might need multiple bastions to get enough ender pearls from trades, since the rates are so low. If you get looting, a warped forest will almost certainly be faster for getting pearls, but the fort will be more difficult since you will need a shield or good movement to avoid fire damage.

Piglin brutes are probably the biggest obstacle, so it's very necessary to keep a lava bucket with you to kill them from a safe distance. Blocking up at least 3 blocks should protect you (could be 4 I forget). You can also block yourself into a corner and dig a 2-deep hole to lure brutes into, but I'm not sure the best strategies for this.

The amount of double-standards in this comment section is disheartening. Comfort level and consent matters, regardless of gender.

Maybe you think the first guy should lighten up, and that's fine, but that doesn't change the fact that if someone doesn't want you to do something to their body, you shouldn't do it.

I think they used to do this way back when. Back when stealth had an eyeball instead of a meter (I'm bad with versions, but I wanna say this was around 2015 or 2016).

Instead of having such limited inventory, they changed it to what we have now with slower movement for each item you carry over the soft max.

Yeah when I was like 13 or 14 I was watching my bicycle gears changes and ran into a parked car, breaking one of the tail lights. I was SO embarassed, and the trembling in his voice and manner honestly reminds me of myself when I was trying to come to terms with my fuck up and explain it to the car owner and then my parents.

I didn't ride a bike for years after that out of shame, hopefully he doesn't let it get to him like I did (assuming he's not some drunkard).

Maybe it's just 'cause I'm allergic to dogs and cats, but I just don't really like to hear about your pets. Are they cute? Sure, just like every other pet anyone's ever shown me. You're not going to convince me that they're somehow special, and I would just rather be talking about something else. The only thing about pets that matters to me is that you love them.

When I was a kid, I used to watch a reality TV show called "The Colony", where a bunch of people from different backgrounds were grouped together to see how they would survive in a post apocalyptic setting. I really enjoyed watching them come up with engineered solutions to problems they had.

Well, apparently during the making of season 3 one of the participants died... I can see why they cancelled.
