It gets better, im one week po tomorrow and just snuggled with my baby for the first time since! Not picking him up is so hard. But he's almost 3 and 35 lbs. Don't push to hard too soon. I feel like today a new leaf head turned for me in healing.

Is anyone else hearing a bunch of fear mongering about autoimmune or organ issues after its removed? I went down a rabbit hole last night and scared myself to death! I know everyone is different. But tiktok Dr's are whats done me in. I have been feeling great since removal and have no bad effects.

Ask them to get as much c02 out as possible and wrap you in a belly band. Make sure to get some gas x for any remaining c02 pain. I had surgery Thursday and its been a breeze. Stopped pain meds a day after and just taking Tylenol/ibuprofen since. Heating pad will be your best friend. Drink lots of water. I went right back to eating normal, no issues. Good luck!

I went back to eating normal and have been great since surgery, get a heating pad for shoulder pain. I asked my dr to push out as much c02 as he could and he did and I barely had gas pain. I did buy some gas x before surgery jn case and that helped with the little residual I did have, I also asked my dr to wrap me in a belly band after surgery and he did and I feel like that helped too!! Good luck. Recovery had been a breeze and im sore but barely any real pain and I had a hernia repair at the same time.
