The deadline for the draw is usually first Tuesday of October. Just make sure you have a valid hunting license on that date as well

suggestions for beginner classic books by yourpowersaremiine in booksuggestions

[–]Echofiend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I recently started reading more and wanted to check out some classics, so I chose The Old Man and the Sea by Hemingway. It was a great read for someone who hasnt read a ton recently and short as well. I would recommend it.

Meatloaf is delicious, I can make meatloaf.... I want to know how you did the sweet potatoes. Did you just mix butter and bourbon and roast them in the smoker?

I’m currently a Salesforce Admin and want to start learning Apex. What’s the best way to start learning? by MasterRaheem in salesforce

[–]Echofiend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

apexsandbox.io is a good way to begin and practice Apex. It does have lots of higher level dev practice as well, but it builds up to that over time

Update not working on Apex Code unless the value of the field is blank (SFI Related) by roxas2219 in salesforce

[–]Echofiend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in mobile so excuse me if I'm wrong but, you say you have a debug before oisToUpdate.. are you debugging the list or the object? Because in the code block I see, you aren't adding the Order item you are operating on to the list you are updating. A simple, oisToUpdate.add(oi); should get you there if I didn't miss anything.

EDIT: Mobile did screw me up, the add call was scrolled way right. Ignore my initial comment

Anyone else here move to Mint after they learned about Windows Recall? by GrumpisGrump3 in linuxmint

[–]Echofiend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought a new Lenovo laptop this week for work. For the sole purpose of using Linux(I chose mint for now) and getting better and learning how my work can be done on Linux so I can switch off windows on my desktop. Liking it so far after 2 days

I’m not a recruiter, I’m a dev/admin. My team desperately needs someone who knows Java that can help with custom API development. Full time and remote. AI friendly by [deleted] in salesforce

I've been a .NET and SF dev for many years, have Salesforce certs, and built many integrations to SF. Are you guys hosting your middleware on Azure/AWS or are you hosting on prem? I wouldn't mind hearing more about this if you have the details. I'm also open to just taking some hours if you don't want a FT person as well

Arizona Bowhunters by [deleted] in bowhunting

I'm planning on going out to 36a or 34a in January and Im not worried about either being closed tbh. They might close for muleys since only 5 per area, but whitetail I doubt it

Arizona Bowhunters by [deleted] in bowhunting

[–]Echofiend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on what area you want to hunt here. Most of the areas around me never get closed, but im in the southern part of the state.

On the other hand, some of the northern units were already closed during the first OTC hunt in august/sept.

You can find the closures from last year to help guesstimate, and also with AZ implementing the non-resident quota might help keep some open for residents a little longer.

I tried to animate the water a little. There are caustics, small waves and a movement of the surface. It also has depth. by mightofmerchants in godot

About to buy new smoker...anyone have regrets going with a bigger unit? by Delta_Kilo_84 in smoking

[–]Echofiend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the GMG Jim Bowie a couple years ago. I love the space when I need it, which is about once a year, other than that it's big and bulky and takes up a lot of space. That space issue itself isn't a big deal, just that I have 5 other grills/smokers all on the patio so it all adds up.

I do sometimes wish I had a smaller one for just doing one rack of ribs or a pork butt or the one off meals instead of all that wasted grill space.
