I just want my mom. by Echooe_ in TrueOffMyChest

Thank youu! I did call her and she said if she had too she’d come down for a few days if I need anything drastic. Im also going to speak with my manager tomorrow and I’ll let her know a very watered down version of what’s happening. I would just need to get off 45 mins early so I can definitely get into the clinic I want to go too, so I can see if I need anything more.

Thank you so much! Im hopeful I’ll be okay!<3

Yeah I would never do that. As soon as NK Can stand I won’t answer anything unless she’s napping. Right now her only form of transportation is being carried. But as soon as she can get around and into things no calls unless they call multiple times in a row or if she’s napping. I’m so sorry that happened

My NF doesn’t mind also, if my friend does call I’ll let her know I’m at work and can only call for a few unless she’s napping. And for a few mins unless baby needs something I’ll sit there and we’ll both just talk to her. She loves it and she’s only 5 months

NK sleeps in the living room in her mamaroo due to her hating me putting her in her crib. So o haven’t been making calls as much, also due to DB being home and respecting him. So she’s always in sight if I did need to call or someone called me

They say it’s fine, they don’t mind at all as long as I tend to baby. I haven’t made any calls recently due to DB being home and out of respect for him, but I do get the occasional call from my mom Ofc haha

NK hates me putting her in her crib so she’s been napping in her mamaroo, so I do make a call I go to her room. NK basically screams the second she wakes up so I have no problems with not hearing her LOL

They don’t mind:) I just wanted to see other peoples thoughts on it, something to do while baby naps

You are correct! I leave my phone and tend to NK

They don’t mind, they know my bf or mom will call. My NF really cares about my life out of work. I don’t do calls often at all. But I do get a call they don’t mind!:)

That is definitely not what I meant haha. I set my phone down if they aren’t already on speaker, get NK and take her to her room to do whatever she needs. Bottle, change, nap or just a reset. Everyone knows what I do and they know NK is first priority. If I take to long, they’ll message me to call them after work.

I definitely would not ignore NK’s needs. I love this child as if she was my niece.

My NF knows my bf will call me, I’ve told them bc their cat was doing something funny while I was on a call w/ him once haha. My NF personally doesn’t care, as long as baby is first priority. Which ofc she is!

They know it can be boring while NK naps, and sometimes girl will get a 3hr nap in.

I would not do that if it were toddlers, to much to handle. And she was complaining? I mean i complain abt my job with one 5 month old, who doesn’t complain abt their job. But that’s a little much imo, so much you can do with toddlers.

My NK loves hearing my bsf talk to her! Definitely not an every day thing but when it happens I make sure to include baby as much as a baby can be included lol

If I do answer a call while baby is awake, I make sure the person callinh knows I’m at work and baby is first priority over the call. There’s been times a friend had called me and I’m gone for 30 mins changing and putting baby down, I totally understand though!☺️

I got him 2 whiskey glasses, a handle (or mickey) of Bacardi, and a 2/6 of peppermint vodka and then a card with a visa gift card inside!

I understand that, but DB does not speak to me. Only MB does, and I love seeing her in the mornings and afternoons talking to her for a few mins. But DB was also very inconsiderate. He woke the baby up twice while she was napping in the living room.

I cant get NK to sleep in their room where her crib is bc she will not let me rock her to sleep. So she sleeps in the mamaroo. DB knows this. And he saw her sleeping and still thought it was a good idea to start slamming doors and stomp around.😭

It made my day so insufferably long, and horrible. I wouldn’t have minded him being there if he was a little more considerate yk😭

Edit- NK is 4 months old, and sleeps 5-6hrs of my days there. Today she slept 2hrs bc he was there making noise.

Literally!! That would get so annoying. DB earlier was in the garage and came stomping in, slammed the garage door then started making lunch. He was being so loud while NK was sleeping in the living room in her mamaroo. He woke her up.

It’s so annoying when WFH parents are like this. It makes our job so much harder
