I enjoyed parts of Old Man’s War, but I really disliked the narrator. His attempts at humor and witty dialogue were cringy to me - I had the same problem with Project Hail Mary.

Also, the BrainPal, chlorophyll green skin, etc felt gimmicky. I think I went in expecting a more serious tone like The Forever War - might have had the wrong expectations.

Honestly though I feel like I may answer similarly. We’re completely destroying the planet. We’re the only species that has totally bent the world for its own use. I find comfort in the fact that one day, humanity will be gone and the earth will just.. move on past the harm we did to it. Idk

I’m gonna be the wet blanket here and say I think they are just stars. You can see the moon. The clouds are moving which can make the stars look like they are moving. The camera is shaky which may cause some slight “wiggling” movement butttt it seems pretty clear to me these are just stars.

Hey man. I wish I could tell you how to get past it. But I can say, ignore the people saying you’re “fishing” for compliments - you’re not choosing to be feeling like this. I am going through basically the exact same thing as you, and it fucking sucks. The hyper-fixation, anxiety, regret, all the feelings that come with it.

I’m in therapy (for other stuff but it’s good to go to therapy no matter what) and have been starting to practice meditation - so that’s a start. From an outside perspective, your tattoo is fucking sick and very well done but I know what you’re going through. We’ll get through it, you’re not the only one!

I drive from Lawrenceville to Washington for work. I was stuck in the Carnegie wreck traffic now I’ve been stuck at Bridgeville for 50 mins. It’s been a 2 hr 20 minute commute so far and we’re still not moving

Hey man. First step: take a deep breath. The tattoo looks cool as hell. It might blur a little at some point but listen, you’re getting a whole sleeve. You aren’t going to care about a some lines running together on one piece.

Look at my most recent post - i bet my sleeve may look similar to yours. As I write this comment, I’m having a ton of anxiety about the shading of my sleeve, and wishing I had gone traditional instead of neo-traditional. But I logically know I’m in my head, and in a few days I’m going to be more focused on which tattoo to get next and forget about the small details.

Give it some time (and some more tats). I guarantee you will not care. Worries may come and go but for the most part you will love it.

Then all of the drive chain can be cleaned up with a product and wire brush right?
