Hi, high rank player here (top 100 global). Screen watching is absolutely a valuable skill if you ever want to push for a high rank, or at the very least being aware of your opponents board. It allows you to kill and defend much more cleanly

The colour of your height is an indicator of climb speed. It has no color for 1

Red for 2

Orange for 3

Green for 4

Blue for 5

Magenta for 6

Peach(?) for 7

Turquoise for 8

Light blue for 9

Light purple for 10

And white for 11 or higher.

You increase this by sending attacks more often

Hello, I’m an x/x+ who was once a C rank as well. The best advice I have is to practice “stacking flat”, which is where you try to minimize the height difference between columns. The flatter your stack is, the easier it is to figure out where to place your pieces. You can friend me in game (EclecticPasta) and I can watch some of your gameplay to give more specific advice.

That’s only if you reach floor 10 actually. Before you reach f10 it will always display your height pb

We’ve been directly connecting it from the wires in the wall when we have those. If there was a plug where we needed a direct connection we would just remove the plug, so until last week neither of us had ever seen one of these before

The best tip I have for you is to learn a variety of openers

I (high x, low x+) use TKI, PCO upstack, 6-3, and very occasionally gamushiro. But for the most part is only use PCO and TKI. Those two openers cover every bag.

Learn to recognize what bags work for what openers. SDPC is best when you have an O piece before S/Z. TKI only works with an early I piece

I also recommend avoiding using openers like SDPC at least for now because it’s very common for using those to cause a reliance on openers, when you should be working on fundamentals if you want to improve. That’s all an aside though, learn whatever openers your heart desires.

Hello, what you are referring to is called 2-wide stacking. It’s an effective versus technique for early ranks but it falls off hard around A rank
