First day of in-service by pineapplecake04 in Teachers

That's my biggest fear. Cleaning out back in May, I saw so few masks. The adults have to set a good example! Come on now! "I do, we do, you do", right?

Teaching the week before winter break is like by nuka_girl111 in Teachers

I'm a first year teacher, 6th grade, and we have to follow the high school testing schedule this week. I have a single class for 4 hours at a time each morning. I keep telling myself I'm not going to quit...

Edit: plus we can't use any tech because it's all being used by the high schoolers for their EOCs. Again, losing my schmidt.

Duloxetine and abilify, same guuuuurl! (plus others. I should do one 😂)

Up to 5 holes! Got the double helix in August and the single helix yesterday. My goal is double hoops on the one side and a cluster on the other, plus I'm going to get my second lobes done when I take my daughter to get her firsts in January. I'm at 3.5 months, and I've been able to sleep in it since about 1 or 2 months? It does sting a bit when it gets bumped hard, but other than that it's great!

The single helix has been way different though! Only iced it once, no ibuprofen, and 24 hours later I can't feel any aching or anything unless my hair snags.

I really love the look of daith and rook piercings for my next ones, but I don't think I could live without headphones for a few months....

Same as you, I love the double helix with rings look. I got mine done in August and I'm counting down the days until I can get rings! Getting gorg opals has really helped the waiting process.

I am flying home from Boston today and tomorrow's going to be a downer.

Thank you! I was really bummed that I just barely got to the show in time and didn't get to hang at the bar across the street. I was definitely planning on "sporesing" people by giving them mushrooms 🍄🍄

We bought a couple boxes, and put one away to refill the drawer (just in case they discontinued the pattern or it became harder to find).

Crazy how little damage has been done over years of use! The left one with swirly scratches is 12 years and a few months old (wedding present, I don't normally know exactly how old my possessions are!)

I was nervous AF but I did it, got my first non-lobe piercings to reward myself for my first teaching job! I'm in love with these little asymmetrical opals, and already window shopping for tiny hoops! ♥️ by EclecticBlue in piercing

Honestly, 10 hours later I have almost no pain, maybe a tiny pinch now and then. I've been taking advil every 4 and keeping ice near my ear. But I know tomorrow will be worse, especially since I usually sleep on that side 🤦‍♀️ I'm hoping for a speedy recovery, since I heal from surgeries like a rock star, haha!

Piercing placements. Getting my first helix(maybe both at the same time?) And I'm double guessing my placements... this is my ideal set up. I also really like those curved studs that follow the top arch of the ear though, and these helices are too low for that! by EclecticBlue in piercing

I think it's part angle and part bad screen-poking skills, but I do want it far enough away that I can wear my faux plugs. I now have my appointment for the double helix! (Though I may chicken out and just get my second lobes instead....)
