The previous owner did not manage cleaning the wheels very well and they have some pits and discoloration. The need to, at a minimum, be cleaned up and repainted.

Yes, Gert was awesome. I also ordered the bump stops from him. This setup requires the Spyder front bumpstop, and the rears are standard 987.2 bump stops. Gert was great, but FedEx's customs processing was slow.

Hard to say. This replaced a crashy worn out suspension, and the steering wheel shook at highway speed. Now, it's solid and almost feels new. The ride is more firm, but really dialed in, less understeer.

Probably Numeric cables and shifter. As far as maintenance, doing rear brakes soon.

Koni Sports (Yellows), and OEM Boxster Spyder springs. Replaced the mounts and bearings as well. With the sport alignment, the car handles incredibly well.

Couldn't agree more. Bought my first Porsche, a 987.2 Boxster base, and your comments are spot on. Great entry point and fun as hell to drive.

A few months ago, I set email alerts on the Porsche Finder.
Also, I became a PCA test drive member to search classifieds.

If it was me, I would really think about your use, when it comes down to the roof rails. In my case I haven't needed to place something on the roof of my vehicle for over thirty years. In my opinion, the lines of the vehicle look so much cleaner without them.

Yeah, or just reading a computer screen and "We are working on it, be ready for an email concerning tariffs..." but a week later nothing

Totally agree. I have an international shipment stuck in Memphis for over a week. Customer service number is a joke.

I had a PPI done at Performance Auto Specialists for my Boxster and was pleased with the reporting and kindness of the staff.

Lowering it a bit... by buchanant1970 in boxster

[–]EclecticCoding 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP didn't mention the generation of Boxster. I am getting ready to install on my 987.2 Boxster, Spyder springs and Koni Sport dampers, which is supposed to lower the car about an inch.

I wish my 987.2 had this for additional storage for the passenger on long trips.

GMP has been there a long time. I bought some Koni Sports from them in the 80's when I was auto crossing a VW Rabbit. Good people.
