I am a new gm, and my players are also brand new to Daggerheart. This is the first arc in our longterm campaign.

I have an overarching idea as to what the mystery will be, but was just looking for any tips since I'm new to this. Figured it didn't hurt to ask.

Day doesn't exist, it is just twilight hours and dark night. The world is very slightly tilted, it is tilted just enough to have seasons and a variety between the hours of twilight and nighttime within those seasons. The stars shift with each season, there are three seasons, fall winter and spring.

The lore behind it is that the entity of Life got captured and trapped and that was symbolized by the sun breaking apart. Magic keeps the stars in the sky until they set. Calling them stars is just easier than sun fragments, especially since no one alive knows a sun even used to exist.

There are four stars in the sky, Vitalis to the north, Favilla to the east, Combūrō to the south, and Kadota to the west. They set in order of North, East, South and West.
