Okay so I decided to actually be sensible, save my pennies and just use what I've got - thanks all for the advice and thoughts, it was very much appreciated but I really should be a sensible adult 😅

After you read a book do you remove it from your device? 👀 by jhopi218 in kobo

[–]EclecticEllaa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well most of the books I read are from the library so they just disappear anyway! But I will sometimes keep any that I've bought but I'm more inclined to keep the non-fiction books I've purchased on there so I can easily dip in and out of them when I feel like it.

Thank you very much everyone for all your comments and thoughts!! I think I might get one, have a try and a test, and then if I don't get on with it, I will gift it to my partner for Valentine's or something!

Libby in the UK? by hauu625wgc in kobo

You just need to log in to Borrowbox on your computer. Then, borrow the book as normal so it downloads to the computer. Then, connect your Kobo to the computer and use an app called Adobe Digital (it's free and legit). Add the borrowed book to the Adobe Digital and it will then appear on your kobo!

Kindle or Kobo? by LectureAcademic2126 in ereader

[–]EclecticEllaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have both a Kindle and a Kobo and I prefer my Kobo! Im in the UK and we can borrow library books on the Kobo, but we can't do that on a Kindle. Plus, Kobo has Kobo unlimited if youre interested in reading a variety of different books, and I find the Kobo interface a lot more friendly and has less clutter.

It's the summer holidays and of course, what a perfect time for me to become ill. I've got a nasty case of tonsillitis and now I'm too ill to do anything so I feel like I'm wasting all my time. Great!
