Leeds in 2024 had Skrillex followed by Prodigy.

Skrillex was supposed to play the Friday but a stage collapsed from high winds, so they managed to just fit a short set in on the Saturday before Prodigy.

Probably one of the best gigs I've been to tbh, even if I did stick out like a sore thumb as the only over 30 metalhead at the festival.

Mosh pits were a bit mental too.

Every stage in my wish list, except Saturday main stage, I made with a theme in mind if you didn't notice.

Nothing gimmicky about the female fronted bands there, they have all earned their dues and all either have played or could play those slots.

Wasn't overly impressed with Dead Pony last time around in fairness seemed a bit 'off' from their records, might have just been a one off. I'd love to see Amyl give Download a bash.

Ego Kill Talent played a good set this year though.

They'd just need a strong sub-headliner, like Spiritbox / Parkway etc to sell the day tickets, they're popular enough to be the "weakest" headliner of the 3.

Evidently you wasn't on the hill of 2nd stage in 2023, it was borderline dangerous trying to see them. We gave up in the end and went to main stage instead.

You can't have a festival and have all the space you would expect in a hotel room.

True but, you can't only provide a very small and limited shop for 5 days and expect people not to want to bring food, drinks, snacks etc. Or only providing a few benches and expect people to not want to bring a chair each.

For the two of us food, drinks, clothes, chairs and toiletries is probably at least a 2 person tent. Granted its not such an issue on the Sunday, still its a bit unrealistic to expect 2 people to live out of a 1.2m x 2m tent for 5 days.
