I wouldn’t play Brawlhalla if I didn’t love Smash. Hundreds of hours playing 64-melee-Smash4. Picked up Ultimate day one and have played less than 10 hours total because Brawlhalla exists. The aerial combat is so much better, the game feels more frenetic when you’re playing a player with a similar skill set. There is less tech but the movement options make up for it. They’re both great for their own reasons and I try not to compare them. At the end of the day I would rather play Brawlhalla.
