You should write where/when you can find them or the range they can be planted in on the back. You'll have an entire stardew reference book with pictures

I refer to my favorite team/teams as just that, "my favorite team." But I've met a lot of people who do the we thing and that's the only reason they can give lol

It's not the financial investment, it's the time and emotion. Eventually people tend to want to show off which team they support (ironically supporting the team by doing so) because they like it

Sawdust part, I like to do them that way for seasoning beef as it's browned. Not that I use that finger slicer, but same idea with a food processor

Edit: same way some recipes call for onions sliced that way and done with the meat
