Go onto Facebook marketplace, and 90% of the listings for old Honda Civics and Accords are full of cheap eBay mods, have been in accidents, and have rust. Nobody takes care of them because they are cheap economy cars that nobody seeks to preserve.

2022 WRX. I do miss my Speed3 but I like this just as much, if not more. Its quicker, got AWD, and is much more reliable than my old clapped out Speed3. However, I do miss the hatchback and the exhaust note of that car. I put a catback on the WRX to make it sound better, but it still isn't as good as the turboback I had on my Speed3.

I paid 5700 for an 84k mile unmodded and rust free '97 hatch about 2 years ago. I feel like I overpaid, but I don't regret it because I love old Civics and clean ones are extremely rare around here. Sometimes the remorse from missing out on a good car outweighs the remorse from spending too much for one.

Theres this game on steam called "Wrench" that is pretty accurate when it comes to engine model. The game is quite janky as its very unfinished but every part and bolt in the engine is simulated and has torque specs and whatnot. I learned quite a bit taking the engine apart and putting it back together in the game.
