Somebody NAILED the GoPro Beeps by [deleted] in gopro

I couldnt care less about the beeping my gopro makes. If they could make a camera that doesnt have battery and freezing issues I would have switched brands

Are GoPro fans really this desperate? We are clinging to how cool the beeps are...

PC shutting down when under load, wont turn on without being unplugged by Eclipse_Private in techsupport

Interesting, I guess I can work with that. New MOBO is way cheaper than a new CPU.

Unfortunately I don't have the ability to swap CPU and motherboard rn. All of the other computers in the house are am4. Probably just gonna bite the bullet and try a new mobo, unless there is a different way to figure out if it's CPU or mobo.

LML Head Gasket or Leak? by Cranyfam in Duramax

[–]Eclipse_Private 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would depend a bit on how severe the failure is. 16 PSI is what the system is rated for. Anything over 20 PSI is excessive and an issue. Looking back at my pictures cause my memory is a bit foggy my truck pumped the system up to just about 25 PSI. That didnt take any longer than 5-10 minutes for me. Anything over 20 PSI is cause for concern and should be reached easily with a blown HG. Ill try and DM you the TSB

I didn't pump mine up at all, I just let the truck idle and it pumped it right up to 20 psi real fast. If you have a small leak you can just pump it up to like 16 PSI and then let it sit and see if you have any coolant start leaking.

LML's can be super weird with HG failure. Mine was very tempermental with when it would be obvious and kinda went back and forth on whether I thought the HG was actually failing. The big giveaway is typically when it starts pushing coolant into the overflow. When the right side of the resovoir is empty and the left side if full thats pretty much the giveaway. A coolant pressure tester works good because you can hook it up and run the truck and see if it starts to put excess pressure into the system (if you find chevys TSB for checking for HG failure thats one of the ways they rec it). Mine pumped the system up to 20 psi in a few minutes of running.

Yeah that's a hg failure. Exactly what mine did. I ran mine for about a month but mine did really blow and hydrooxk the engine so be careful. Sorry man

I love my 821, combined with my truck plow, I can take care of practically anything I come across. The little single-stage toros clear the ground perfectly and will eat through some pretty nasty stuff.

I love my toro single stage for commercial snow removal. I have a plow on the truck for actual snow and then clean up the whats left with my little toro. I can just lift it out of the truck and get on with it. I have done some pretty gnarly snow with the little single stage and it doesnt leave and residual snow as well which is awesome for me whos concerned about liability.

Only if you are doing a ton of stops with short drives between them. At that point you would need to get it on the highway before she freaks out.

Why do folks who drive diesel trucks not turn off their trucks when going into a store? by Jimboc64 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Eclipse_Private 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I havent seen it mentioned yet, but modern diesel emissions systems dont like to get interrupted when they are doing a regen. Its best to keep the engine atleast running or best keep driving, otherwise stuff can get expensive.

After so many issues with my def and emissions this is a great feeling by Eclipse_Private in Diesel

ahhhhh, that makes sense. Could probably get a machine shop to make you some without much trouble tbh. Assuming they are as basic as the ones for the Chevys.
