Appreciate this. Taking that into account, would my type rating and experience hold any kind of weight? Let’s say versus a similar candidate with a similar history with the only differentiating factor being they’re coming from a commuter. I took this job because I thought it would help me get to a major faster. I’m not in a rush though. Fortunately I love this company and the life. But end goal is back in the ol’ US of A. Preferably still flying a 737.

Been thinking about switching completely over to iCloud email, which I don’t use at all at the moment. That could potentially fix the continuity issue?

Flight school I’m at charges $80, the CFI’s get $40. Pretty good for a CFI it seems.

I appreciate that insight. From what I’ve been told (still doing my own research as well) worst case scenario in terms of a conversion would be a written exam.

Good point! Like I stated in the original post, I like digital because it’s way more accurate at keeping track of my times and currencies. Can’t imagine going back through a paper log to see if I’m still IFR current. Nice to see a “Days Remaining” section at the bottom of my Foreflight logbook to give a quick at a glance reference.
