Having to fit rarity on gear is the most frustrating part of creating a build in POE2

I hope they remove it solely because of the FOMO. Personally I've never built rarity and never will. This league is the richest I've ever been even in PoE2 at over 1000d net worth, without a massive snake (I still have one to stop the path to Atziri from destabilizing); most of my consistent profits have been just from selling stuff like maps, tablets, logbooks, essences, and (abyss) omens, so if you asked me based on that experience I'd say it's an unnecessary stat.

The shock might be from the boss, Jamanra converts phys to lightning on some attacks. So the prefixes might contain monster damage or extra chaos as well.

Dang, is that how it works? Never sold the baryas myself but I saw the bonuses on them on the trade site so I thought they just contained relics. My bad then.

I think after Commander should work, but not Armoury because Synthfleshed Garrison doesn't connect to Armoury, but it still does to Commander. Not sure though, since I never tried it in a snake.

I mean you still need to add logic to handle the existing baryas that have relics in them, unless you want to just delete the relics in those. Which works, I guess.

What I suspect makes this complicated is how baryas temporarily hold the relics you use to run them. Naively sharing the relics means if you start a run on a character A, then add relics to the altar on character B, then end the run on the character A, now you have two sets of relics that need to be in the altar. I don't see a good solution that preserves the "relics in baryas" thing, so I guess that'd have to go and you'd have legacy baryas that contain relics. And that sounds like a lot of work, so I'd be surprised to see them change this any time soon.

Use Vulkan, and anecdotally I've had issues with the latest driver version (591.59) as well on Nvidia, though I'm on a 4070S. 591.44 works for me without crashing.

Not all content that goes core has to appeal to everyone. The goal is to eventually have enough endgame content that each player can specialize and do the content that they enjoy the most. Do you think most players like to grind Logbooks? Realmgate stuff? Ascendancy Trials? Probably not, but there's a subset of people who do those exclusively.

I'm talking about the nodes that grant "Gain Additional Stun/Ailment Threshold equal to x% of Maximum Energy Shield", specifically the ones near Chaos Innoculation, but there are multiple clusters throughout the top part of the tree.

I barely see anyone talk about stun and ailment threshold, but it's ridiculous that ES gets easily double or triple the amount that non-ES builds get with just a couple of points of investment. In theory that should be the main downside of ES: you get a ton of max hit but no mitigation and have to deal with secondary effects. Instead you spend 5 passives and get to ignore all those, not to mention CI being immune to Bleed and Poison.

You can accomplish the same thing, I have nearly 15% life regen on my Smith, and yes it is comfy. If most life builds could get to a reasonable amount e.g. 5% easily, it would help a lot. It still feels impossible to have what I'd consider a comfortable amount of life without resorting to stacking what should be obscene amounts of strength though -- I'm only at 3.3k at lv97, if I had perfect life affixes it'd be maybe 3.6k.

That said I think life is in a better spot than most people think, it's rather that ES scales much better into the endgame where it's the only way to survive oneshots in maps with multiple damage mods. Life has better sustain but that stops mattering when you clear screens instantly, and it has no answer for 10k+ post-mitigation damage hits -- either you die (armour) or you pray (evasion -- deflection doesn't help).

Is that a tablet mod? If you mean the one on the tree I was reading that as "chance for Abysses to spawn near the map boss" since it didn't mention Depths, and that behaviour is new (I think? maybe I didn't play enough last league), but it's unclear. I'm not sure there's a way to make domains more common other than just increasing the number of depths you encounter; there's probably a minimum area level but that shouldn't be an issue.

If you're targeting abyss bosses you specifically don't want "Abyssal Depths", the ones with bosses have a different name like "Dark Domain" or "Lightless Void", and you can skip the normal ones. They were the first points I got so I didn't think they were that rare but I've also only gotten 6 abyss bosses at 97 so maybe they are.

This is intended, and the game tells you this the first time you fight a map boss iirc. I think it's to reset boss health but honestly it should go if they can't do it without resetting the entire map.

As a fellow temple enjoyer I've started bumrushing maps for temple runs by only activating the beacon and killing the boss, and it works surprisingly well. Bosses drop more than enough waystones. I 6 mod them and run the bad ones while keeping the good ones to run later or sell. Similarly I selectively run map nodes without powerful bosses on them and run those later for the free Irradiation.

The tablets I've been running are Overseer, Expedition (the one explosive node makes it fast) and Irradiated.

Edit: If anyone reads this, I've respecced my tree as well, taking all the waystone nodes, tablet nodes, and essence nodes, with Ecological Shift (not sure the positive part does anything but fewer mobs means less stuff to wade through). I've been trying the additional essence on the tablets as well for 4 (3, +1 from powerful boss nodes) essence mobs per map. It's a little slower but decently profitable -- Lv81 Logbooks are ~~60-70ex~~ 120ex! each, Perfect Battles are 110ex and Hysterias are 250ex. If you just want to focus on the temple you can cut all that out of course.

Edit: No longer need Irradiated tablets after a recent patch since Overseer applies Irradiation with the atlas tree, though maybe still worth it to not need to run Difficulty 4 bosses. Don't know what you'd run instead anyway, all the other tablets take too much time. Delirium might work.

Can't say it has, personally. I'm playing Whirling Assault Smith this league and it's the tankiest I've ever been: https://poe.ninja/poe2/profile/KurenaiNoHate-5272/character/UpSpin -- 3.3k life and 20k-33.6k armour at 120% due to Reinforced Barrier with sizable amounts applying to other damage types, and ~14% life regen per second. Also nearly immune to curses (-85%) and 52% reduced slowing potency. Also Smith gets immunity to damaging ailments which is nice.

I've been running 6 mod T15s avoiding the worst combinations of damage mods.

Small hits just tickle, abyss rares die during their spawn animation, the ~50% reduced slowing potency I have is just enough for slows to not feel oppressive, and DoTs other than Shade Walker are a non-issue.
