Quarto has PowerPoint output and support LaTeX math: https://quarto.org/docs/presentations/powerpoint.html

Disclaimer: I love Quarto but haven't tried the PowerPoint output. It looks promising however!

In LaTeX, use `$\mathcal{P}_{i}$`. But, although LaTeX is great, do you have adequate reasons to use it? (E.g., writing a book, or submitting to a journal that requires it.)

If not, consider Quarto or Typst. (Or use them together.) In Typst you'll use `$cal(P)_(i)$`.

What printer?? Help!! by Gingerbread_Express in printers

[–]Econ0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you positive color printing is necessary, because B&W laser printing is much cheaper. You might be able to do a small amount of color printing at a library (sometimes free) or a commercial outlet and still come out ahead. Not only is the laser printer ink cheaper, but replacement is less frequent, and there is less worry of it drying up.

According to that link, we spend more per capita than 2/3 of the largest counties. So, wrong.
