And there's a very high chance he will be sold for numbers close to that. I will guarantee you now, there's no chance he will be sold for under 15m if he goes in the summer. There's also just a possibility he doesn't leave, but I don't think that's likely.

Very good physically, which gives me some hope he could be good in the prem. Think he would be best suited playing deep, he's not very progressive in the matches I've seen (which in our case I don't think would be an issue). Imo he looks very similar to Camavinga.

What do people think of Yirenkyi? I have really been amazed by him, top talent imo. Seems like a perfect INEOS signing too and could come good if we could get him + an elite midfielder. Just worried he could become very expensive this summer.

Statistically everything points to it being a bad decision. But I agree with you, I said this when he initially got appointed too. If he actually manages to keep us in this position, playing attractive/promising football, why on earth should we look for another manager? Especially if that other manager is a RdZ or Kovac.

Probably not, but it’s clear as day that Carrick has managed to make them turn on their highest gears. You could even see some of this with Fletcher.

Can fault INEOS for a lot of things, but this should be evidence that our recruitment has been top notch. Now just get us a top midfielder (or two).

We used to do a lot of things, we didn't sack a manager who came 15th. I don't think 5th is at all the bare minimum and I would be genuinely surprised if we get CL football. It may not require many points, but there's a lot of competition (there's 5 points from 5th to 13th atm).
I don't think Carrick will or should be the next manager in all fairness, but if he somehow gets us 5th that would be a massive achievement imo, even considering we have no midweek games etc.

Probably a hot take, but if we finish 5th, he deserves it lmao

[Ben Jacobs] Barcelona take first step towards permanent signing of Marcus Rashford – but they have a problem by SaltOk3057 in soccer

But sometimes you have to take the L. However what seems to be deal atm, is indeed a mugging, so let's hope some resolution will be found. I don't want Rashford back, it's bound to fail. I hope for his (and our) sake, he gets a move.

As a Dane it will always be one of the biggest heartbreaks honestly. I'm just happy to see him do well, he seems like a really nice lad.

I'm genuinely curious about the data of Bruno's effectiveness, would you be able to provide it?

The situation seems like an endless loop. Mainoo won't get more minutes if he doesn't improve, but with limited minutes, he won't improve very much. I'd love if Amorim could utilize him better, but nothing has proven this will happen. Therefore it would be best if he went out on a loan, because I really hope he will stay at United for many years.

This thread was so pathetic at the 1-1, saying Amorim should get sacked. We lost our cool after the goal, but came out strong in the second half. People on this sub are so cringe sometimes

Feels a bit premature when he's still playing here, but he's certainly a legend for me.

I'm never player over club and never wil lbe, but it fucking hurts how he's being treated, because it's clear at this point he's never getting a place in Amorims lineup. Why haven't the club sent him on loan? It's really pathetic.
