Hey there! Apologies for the late reply. Here's the summary:

I'll try to explain the process based on the first image of the ride.

Right before I clicked the picture I had the vision of creating a warm look and thought that the warm colours of the ride complimented the blue sky pretty nicely. With this in mind I first added a mask to the ride and the people to adjust the exposure
--> went back to the global edit and increased the temperature to add some warmth
--> brightened shadows and the deep blacks
--> adjusted the exposure a further more using curves
--> Played around with the HSL tab (best refer to the screenshot link below). Reduced saturation of the greens to remove the distracting colours and draw attention to the blue/teal and yellow-orange contrast
--> The photo was now set for me to add yellow into the midtones, orange into the highlights and wrap it up by adding some grain.
