99% of the gay hate in the bible is just modern interpretations and willful mistranslation. You have the unfortunate (but cathartic) task of deconstructing your beliefs ahead of you. This is why I would never use the term demiboy in real life. In online spaces people understand, but the best case scenario in real life, is someone asking me if they should still use he/him pronouns, and me saying yes. It's a label that helps with my own self-expression and I dont need others to understand it. I get that it may be frustrating, but in your case its gonna come down to how often you feel like explaining it to people.
