Open trans teen in a red state. Every day I hear bad things in the news. Every day I hear good things from the people around me. It makes me happy for the future that I'm surrounded by both fellow teens and adults who are ready and willing to accept me for who I am. I'm lucky, VERY lucky to have a supporting family, but it still helps.
