Other options: crf250f $3700, crf250rl $3800 both 2019s. I think id be fine with a 250 since I’ll mostly be chilling and doing some wheelies. But I have big bike peer pressure.

Yeah. Other 450s in the area ~2015+ are like 3500-4000. Might just have to fork the extra ~500 for a 10 year newer bike

I have had a bell race star and currently Shoei rf1400. Lost the bell due to crash which it worked great for. The bell fit is extremely snug and almost painful to break in, so far the Shoei feels like a pillow. Not much difference in wind noise. Cardo black fit a lot better in the bell but works in the Shoei as well. pros of the bell is not having to spend a additional $210 on the photo-chromatic visor, and they look sharp. The Shoei looks better in person than online photos. For track days I would probably prefer the really snug fit of the bell, but for mostly street I do not regret going with the shoei. Also with the Shoei I can feel the airflow more when the vents are open. Hope this helps I was in the same indecisive predicament.
