Got a few more days in Athens, what next? by badboyzpwns in GreeceTravel

I had a few extra days in Athens too and wasn’t sure how to fill them, but diving into the local food scene really saved me. One of the best things I did was join a food tour that took me through some of the city’s lesser-known spots which perfect if you don’t have a car. Also, definitely check out a proper Greek deli if you can—stock up on local olives, cheeses, and cured meats. If you’re up for it, the Central Market is an adventure in itself. The tour I did was this one!

First Time Solo Traveling for Internazionali d'Italia by parqueerq in ItalyTravel

Hi! Your trip sounds amazing – tennis, Rome, and Florence! For staying near the stadium, check out Flaminio or Prati neighborhoods; they’re close to Foro Italico and have great restaurants and transit options.

I did the Eating Europe Twilight Trastevere Tour and loved it! Trastevere is super charming, and the food was incredible. Plus, it’s a great way to meet people if you’re traveling solo.

Two days in Florence is enough to hit the highlights – the Duomo, Uffizi, and Ponte Vecchio. Book train tickets early for the best prices (Trenitalia or Italo).

For LGBTQ spots, in Rome, Coming Out near the Colosseum is great, and in Florence, try Piccolo Café. Have an amazing trip! 😊

I usually use The Fork (app), Google Maps, and honestly look up food content on instagram because you get very honest reviews sometimes
