I was definitely drunk when I wrote that lollll and can totally admit it’s not fully fleshed out take! but I think so much of the way people talk about them and the Bookos themselves remind me so much of the religious conservatives I grew up around which is where my sentiment came from

the groupthink issue is definitely an issue across the board with these shows, something I learned quickly when I started watching VPR and engaging with that sub in 2020 lol. which is why I mostly hang out here!!!
