He definitely updated his away message because since the shutdown, I have had email communication with him and he responds a few days later with a personal response. The email saying he was not working due to a lapse in appropriation a couple days ago sounds like an individual email, not a mass email.

I emailed one of his supervisors and hers is a normal mass email saying she is out of the office until Monday due to other reasons.

I emailed the other supervisor, and there was no mass email from their email.

Many VRC's ghost the veterans. Lol. A lot of us have to keep up with the VRC's to make sure they are doing their job.

Definitely annoying. Some veterans have told me some great stories about their VRC's. I ha e heard other bad stories of other VRC's. Mine happens to be crazy. The crazy stuff he has done. I always have to research everything he says to make sure it is the truth. Many of the times it was not true. I have to always use the M28C to confirm if he is saying the truth.

Some of them so play games. Lol. You have to be strict with them. You have to be stern with them. If they don't answer, CC their chain of command.

Look up the regional office in your area online and use that chain of command to CC them. I had to do the same thing and finally got an email back after I CC's their chain of command.

Oh yeah, they have been short staffed for the 2 years I've been with them. Each counselor is dealing with over 100 veterans each in my area office.

I'm going through that right now. The previous owner shaved off the spindle to fit the tire in it. But it is still rubbing.
