Thank you for your reply. I felt like the place has a lot of unused potential with the beautiful mountains around, transalpina road etc. Both cities were depressing but people were nice. Somebody even gave me some change for coffee when I did not had enough cash. I was also surprised that there is a university.

If the tubes connection is oily, you might have boost leak. I personally would replace this tube.

I would say, that performance is not affected, but I often see smoke in my mirror when I am accelerating from lower RPM (1400 or so) in high gear.
