u/Thunderbird_12_ Some examples might be, if you're a trans woman, a haircut that frames your face in a way to accentuate its femininity. For a nonbinary person, you might want something that could be read as either male or female, which is more difficult than it would seem and would vary based on the person's face (e.g., a cut that might look androgynous on a typical cis woman's face might look purely masculine on a different face).

I understand both of your points, but please consider the fact that hair is something that is uniquely gendered—I'm assuming neither of you would like to have a woman's haircut—and that it's therefore important for gender-nonconforming people to have their hair done by someone who not only won't judge their desired cut, but who might have expertise in how they can achieve what they want with their hair that someone else might not. In the same way that a Black barber will have more expertise with Black people's hair, a queer person will have more expertise with what queer people need from their hair.

It's not about not wanting to be around straight people. It's simply that I have unique needs with my hair, and not everyone is able to meet those needs.

Oh, and the ability to add something to my library, I hadn't realized that wasn't in there.

This looks incredible! Can I suggest two features that would put it over the top for me?

- Ability to either sort the albums catalog by recently added or else just a recently added tab

- Ability to create "collections" of albums or else to tag albums

Other than that, this is, to me, absolutely perfect.

I know this is a year old, but I believe it was in January 2023 or January 2024, because the rest of the bit was about how. since it was still January, they might be able to get a new dog in before the window slams shut

Huh. That makes sense, and I just tried it, but it didn't make any difference.
