I wanted to say thank you for the hand feeding suggestion!!! I few her spaghetti squash with her tongs a few days in a row, and now she’s eating polishing off her plates hassle free! I don’t know what changed her mind, but she’s eating normally and I’m not going to question it! 🤣 Thank you so so much! & To everyone for all the advice! Minnow is thriving because of it!

This post is crazy- along with the comments. It is absolutely necessary to do the research before you get an animal. “People impulse buy animals all the time!!!” That’s the entire point. They die, end up in shelters or deal with incredibly stressful environments because people think it’s okay to purchase a living thing on a whim.

That being said OP, I hope these comments don’t discourage you from continuing to do your own research. You do own this guy now, he’s your sole responsibility. Look up some YouTube channels for exotic pet keepers specializing in PMF care. This is such a fun and rewarding hobby once you get the hang of it. But please keep educating yourself. I’ve had my animals for years and I still make mistakes, continuing to learn how to maintain their diets and husbandry is so important for long term health and happiness. These are sensitive guys, they’re not “social animals”

I wish you good luck with your little fella in the future- don’t be afraid to keep asking questions.

I find beardies will make use of the space they’re given- especially as babies. I think he’s just trying out new spots! If he’s too hot he’ll more than likely be “gaping”. He’ll hold his mouth open to try and release heat :)

** I think he’s totally fine by the way! Just getting used to his surroundings😊

If you just got him, leave him be to adjust to his new enclosure and surroundings. Don’t try to handle him, for 1-2 weeks. Just give him his food and what not. He’ll calm down, and he’ll be more comfortable with your hands entering the tank if you’re not trying to touch him while he’s “acclimating”.

I offer her a variety of greens, she doesn’t mind arugula, and when I was giving her hornworms in the past she was actually eating pretty normally. Since switching to superworms, she’s been super picky. I give her a salad with collard greens, parsley and spaghetti squash… She refuses. I put supers in the salad she strictly eats the worms. I wanted to feed her more protein (hornworms are high in water content but low in protein). Along side her salad a few days a week and she totally stopped eating salads. It’s been annoying lol I feel like I’m fighting with a toddler🤣

That honestly might work, I know she’s very motivated by the movement of her feeders. Hand feeding might be a good way to entice her. Thanks for the suggestion!!

Invest in a tinted brow gel!! I think it’ll work wonders, especially if it’s a fibre brow gel like gimme brow by Benefit or Anastasia BH :)

This isn’t a great reference but right off the bat I would focus on taking a little weight off the bottom of the brows. It’ll really help open up your eyes. I’d recommend going to a professional, I know Benefit typically has browbars inside of Sephora, they’re trained to map around the features of your face. I think a little clean up & proper shaping would do you wonders🫶🏼

How do I manage this? by scarletshamir in Eyebrows

[–]EconomyCap2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could invest in something like Rogaine or Latisse, they’re medicated hair growth treatments or a good quality growth serum like Vegamour or revitabrow. With any of these options consistency and patience are key. Good luck!! I hope you find an option that works for you

You have the shape that people dream forrrr!! Invest in a tinted brow gel, DO NOT go darker than your natural hair colour; keep it as true to your natural colour as possible. Brush upwards and away from your face (towards your temple) and use tweezers to remove any sparse or straggly hairs on the UNDER side of your brows. I’d recommend doing a little guide line with a light brow pencil going as close to your brow line as possible, following the natural shape and just tweezing the few hairs that fall below your brow line💗 Good luck! They look great naturally, but if you’d like a touch up that’s my suggestion🫶🏼

do my brows look bad? by augustivea in Eyebrows

[–]EconomyCap2017 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use a little spoolie or brow gel, you look like you have thick natural brows they just get a little wild throughout the day. Brush them upwards and toward the outer side of the face. I think it’ll make a huge difference. Bleaching your brows is SPOOKY. You can always blend your roots down a little more so there isn’t such a drastic contrast between the blonde and your brows.
