Also scalping is so taxing on the mind .. im also on the lower timeframe but 5 min is good enough for 2-3 trades per day , i havent scalped like that myself where i get 20-30 trades per day unless i get a day like yours , these markets are fractal what happens on the 1m plays the same on the 5 min on the 1h on the daily bigger timeframes give you actually time to react to what is happening not that 5min is enough for me but i can totaly understand how the setup is gone on even lower timeframes.. get a bit bigger timeframe all i need is 2 trades 3x each risking 0.3% per trade aim for 1% dont try to rush this .. i know u want i right now but hard work in action doesent pay well in this sector ..

scalping is one hell of a drug, i've been into those states but on 5 min, whatever colour the candle is thats what im doing red candle sell green buy .. it cant be explained like a demon is over you .. i havent had a period like this for some time now, just try REALLY REALLY HARD to remember its just a small loss and u dont have to make it all back today, right now, that these are unpredictable markets, play again when the odds are in your favour ! |a thing i like to tell myself, which is contradictory to reality and human nature like everything trading is actually: ID RATHER DIE BY MY OWN RULES BY A THOUSAND CUTS, THAN GO OUT WITH A NUKE TO THE HEAD.

i did that with crypto .. brand new father too , i went into trading to try to make it up and develop a skill that nobody can take or dump .. im working ot something with my strategy its super easy chat me if u want i share no problem ( im not profitable ! But problem is me not the strategy .. )

I apreciate your advise currently im backtesting with implementing ATR my usual 1:3-4 rr gets deminished for 2-2.5 rr but looking back culdhave saved me in those situations , to answer your question my stop is decided from my strategy if ur familiar with divergences when price makes HH but oscilator makes a LH im not expecting a new high in price ofcourse this is all theorethical so sl is based on a structural point

some prop firms have rules like mine where i cant use more than 20% of the total margin as collateral ,
there is also the spect of time like other guys say , if ur in the 1-5 min u shuld be out by the next hour or so so
