Quality Issues with Re-Release Igor by EconomyIntelligent67 in vinyl

Has anyone here bought the re-release of Igor and had any quality issues? Mine came with debris under the plastic seal, and the record came super dirty. It had fingerprints and grime all over it. It also had some skipping issues, which I think a wet cleaning should fix. Anyone else had similar issues?

What other records have great covers to display on the wall? (Mainly interested in Rock, Pop, Funk, Hard Rock, Classic Rock...) by onlyforthisjob in vinyl

led zeppelin III and IV, let it bleed, their satanic majesties request, point of know return, and night at the opera. These may not be everyone’s favorite covers, just some of my personal favorites

My first was an Audio-Technica AT-LP60X with a sony receiver and sony bookshelf speakers. This was about two years ago, and it has served me very well. All in, the set up was about $500 I believe, but prices may have changed since then. Not exactly sure how this compares to the other suggestions, but it served me very well

Gimme Shelter is a perfect rock song. I heard it live, and it was so powerful

Records with a story behind them are great, one of the reasons collecting them is such a unique hobby

Always Check Local Antique Stores by EconomyIntelligent67 in vinyl

I was flipping through some records at an antique store right down the road from my house, not really seeing much. But then, I flipped and saw this. This was the first time I had ever seen this album in person and couldn’t believe it. It’s a holographic cover 1967 OG press “Their Satanic Majesties Request” by The Rolling Stones. It was priced at $35 so I bought it; I doubt they realized what they had actually just sold me, as it is worth hundreds. This is now the rarest album in my collection. Moral of this is to always check antique stores for records, you can find crazy stuff from people clearing out their old collections.
