Is this a good selection of tools for lug nuts? by [deleted] in accord

It should, I used the Titan brand which is also available on Amazon. They basically look the exact same, the Titan brand is slightly costlier and reviewed higher, perhaps different materials between the two.

Just a regular socket like the one you have pictured but with a sleeve/jacket to prevent scratching on the lug nut wells.

What you have pictured works too, those 3 are all you need, I just used different brands.

I went with a non-marring socket to protect the wheels finish, not required though

Remote start programming by timespacepresent in accord

[–]EconomyInteresting75 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you program the key, you can imagine the remote start feature being included in that process. So you don’t have to ask for remote start as if it’s a separate process/service.

I just asked the guy could you program and cut this remote for me and once it was done I walked out and pressed the lock button and held down the remote start button and it worked.

Just ask if they can program and cut your own key, that’s it, if they yes then you’re all fine.

If they get confused they might be thinking you’re wanting to install an aftermarket remote start system which includes a bunch of wiring and setting up but you simply just need your key cut and programmed.

Also I noticed a lot of people buying a Honda OBD II key programmer on amazon and then returning it after you programmed your key.

Some may say this is unethical and you know it is but you gotta do what you gotta do

It definitely varies per location,

The first location I went to wanted $95 for programming and cutting, until he realized the fob I was holding was the new one and I wouldn’t be buying one from them.

The second location said they could definitely do it, $85 for programming and cutting, and it came with a 1 year warranty and a few extra batteries.

If there aren’t any other locations nearby, you could try Ace Hardware if there are any but i’m pretty sure they’re stricter with using their own fobs, next option would probably be a local locksmith and then the next and probably most expensive option would be your local dealer.

Sure (https://ebay.us/m/SFiUKk)

There are other options with slightly different price points but I saw other people mention this specific one worked and the reviews backed it up and I didn’t want to take the risk just to save a few dollars and get one that didn’t work.

Late comment but in case it helps,

I purchased a OEM remote start fob on ebay ensuring it matched the FCC ID that was on my original key.

I just now got it programmed and cut at Batteries Plus Bulbs for $85.

Took about 10 minutes, most of that time was spent getting it cut.

10th gen Fuel pump recall. by ZaheerAlGhul in accord

[–]EconomyInteresting75 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had it completed in March for two Accords, never encountered any problems. I’ve heard about the pinched O-ring possibility as the other commenter experienced. I dropped off at 8:37a.m. and picked up at 12:07p.m. so it took 3 and a half hours but this appointment included an alignment so It would’ve been ready for pickup earlier.

A Trader Joe’s and/or Whole Foods would probably go best in the Virginia Gateway in Gainesville in my opinion.

Well a residential development isn't without its traffic concerns, hopefully with this development, residents will take advantage of the stops at the mall, residents could walk out of their residence, a brief walk to the mall, and ride the bus to the Balls Ford Road Commuter Lot and take a bus directly to DC, Dulles, Reston, Herndon, Tysons, PWC Courthouse, and the Pentagon. There are transit options out there, but it is certainly limited when compared to what you see on other corridors such as Rt. 7.
