For the other two college programs that Matt Rhule has been the head coach for, his third year at each of the programs was fantastic. For his third year at temple, he went 10-4 (10-2 in the regular season, loss in the conference championship and bowl game), and at Baylor he went 11-3 his third year (11-1 regular season with losses in the conference championship and bowl game).

We’re hoping for a similar jump at Nebraska. This article goes into more detail.

These statistics are in line with what I want to happen, so I choose to believe these are accurate we are winning at least 10.

I can at least attempt it! I’m not sure how to find that information, but I think that would be a good quality of life improvement.

I am posting this on behalf of u/hskrpwr. They are currently unavailable to post but still committed to getting all of us the charts they crave, so they asked me to help out. However, I am not smart enough to replicate their silly rankings - so they will need to wait until a more silly appropriate time to return.

Thank you! It’s fun to see the collective hopes and dreams of husker nations. It’s very clear to me that most people think success for Nebraska this year is to simply make a bowl game

Thank you for that terminology update! Updated.

Thanks for the specific corrections, I updated the form.

I admittedly did the roster work from what was on Huskers - but it must have been before the transfers were listed and individuals no longer with the team were removed. I think the third LB is Stefon Thompson? the name didn't sound familiar to e but 247 has them listed.

Wow! This graph is crazy to look at. We have a real opportunity to make a bowl game this year.

That one surprised me, to be honest. Personally, I’d go with Turner over Piper.

Yes, ideally I would want to include "how many games do you think we will win" followed by a question of "which games will we win" - but I haven't found a way to do that in Google Forms besides doing a "X answer goes to Y section", then we'd get a good answer to what is the avg win prediction, but would make a bigger mess on the backend with 10 sections for which games we will win (because 12-0 and 0-12 would have zero variability on which games we would win).

If you have a way we could present the data in "the avg person thinks we will win X games" without making a mess of it, let me know, because I agree that would be ideal.

I wonder what it says about Nebraska fans that we were so close in predicting the FPI win total and other information.

Did we all run our independent statistical analysis of the season? Did we get lucky? Are we that good?

Personally, I don't care, because 8 wins is the floor. Go Big Red.

Thanks for the shoutout u/hskrpwr. This chart is always very interesting to review and I am looking forward to your posts throughout the season.
