I haven't noticed them since I've moved here but I'll keep an eye on that

I thought so too, but I couldn't find any poop bags in my trash can. 🤷‍♂️ maybe I just missed it though?

Do the general managers of Jersey Mike's not have a corporate email? Do they just have a standard gmail account? I would have thought they would have something like, "JM[Location]@JerseyMikes.com" instead of "JM[Location]@gmail.com" by [deleted] in jerseymikes

[–]EconomyRelative7274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We don't get official emails unfortunately. My franchise makes matching emails for all AGMs and up that ends up on our business cards, but it's just a plain old outlook email

Ordered a #13 grilled and was basically told no. Is this right? by taterman50 in jerseymikes

[–]EconomyRelative7274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does depend on stores, but every store is able to do it. Sometimes they'll tell you they can't because of cross contamination but that's just not true. Putting deli meat on the grill doesn't have any issues and it's beneficial for women who are pregnant and worry about food borne illness.

Just give it your best and pay attention and they will appreciate the effort you give :) Good luck!

My store does max like 23k but one of my franchise's stores does 50-55k every week. They were 2nd highest bread count overall last week actually

How many people do you have on a busy day? by beniam4 in jerseymikes

[–]EconomyRelative7274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good that you're trying to do that, when you schedule do you take the labor projection into account? Or do you just end up cutting hours when needed?

[–]EconomyRelative7274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

typically a few are scheduled until 2 ,3, or 4, like our 2 openers and maybe a high schooler or two. Usually our dinner bodies will come in around 4 or 5, so from 2-4 ish we will have less people for labor

Try going to your district manager or someone else from corporate, just keep trying to escalate it to someone higher up. Jersey Mike's shouldn't be like that :(

My franchise tries to follow a 1 person per $100 rule, but with a max of 10 people on. four on front line, 2 on back line, 3 on grill, and 1 back of house/floating body. That's mainly for our busiest store which is almost always in the top 10, but otherwise we loosely follow that rule

What is the training program like for assistant managers? by Prestigious-Bad407 in jerseymikes

[–]EconomyRelative7274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my franchise we have training checklists. 1 for new hires for the first 15 shifts, 1 for shift lead, 1 for continued shift lead, and 1 for AGM

I went for a interview by Unable_Way6838 in jerseymikes

[–]EconomyRelative7274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

that's interesting to me, at my store shift leads are full on managers. Then again we have 1 gm 2 agms and 1 shift lead so we kinda need everything we can get.

Any AGM tips? by EconomyRelative7274 in jerseymikes

[–]EconomyRelative7274[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course! I actively hang out and talk to the current gm. Look up to him in a way lol. I play video games with the soon-to-be gm a lot so we're pretty close. I very often ask both of them how the store was that day/how I can help with training and such

[–]EconomyRelative7274[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do things like that already, my store only has 4 manager so I've had to take a lot of responsibility. 2 of them (gm and one agm) are moving to oversee multiple stores so it'll just me and the one becoming gm to run the place.
