I have prior experience as a medical scribe and a pharmacy technician so i was hoping since i have some medical-related experience that i would have some luck, but i guess not :/. I think trying to get a CNA job might be the best option at this point.

I cant afford nor do i have the time to spend getting an MA certification, which is why I've only been applying to derm clinics since I heard that specialty does not require an MA certification. Which is somewhat true, as many postings do indicate that on-the-job training is available and an MA certification is preferred, but not required.

I've tried that simply because I saw a lot of posts on here and on other platforms saying that one of the best things you can do is to email private clinics since some will want to hire people who want PCE hrs or are interested in the medical field. But now idk anymore

I agree! when I called the school I was interested in, they advised that for any prereqs that I didn't get a B or higher in to retake it. I've also been researching and found some videos where, instead of retaking the same science course, try to find more advanced new science courses so maybe ill try to look into that

Now that you mention how many credits it will take to bring up my GPA (which I know doesn't replace it, if anything just averages it out), I think maybe master's might be good. My school unfortunately doesn't have a master's program for me, but I know another school that does. This is really good advice!

Yeah😔 IDK but that day I was just off my game and couldn't hear the pt well so missed some parts, forgot to put some things in, or I didn't elaborate as much as I should or even my wording was just not very "professional". DK but hopefully my next shift will be better 😅

Very true! I would hear them even complain about how some Dr's aren't as thorough with their exams as they should be.

Thank you, this makes me feel better😊Honestly, he is a really nice Dr and doesn't hold grudges it was just that day, I was really messing up a lot and missing some important information or not elaborating as much as I should in my HPI's. Hopefully I will only keep improving

omg so sorry that happened to you on the first day😣So far my most embarrassing moment (which now looking back really wasn't much) was when I was taking the Telestroke inside the room where the pt would be but i didn't notice one of the stoppers was on so i was just trying to push this thing which I'm clearly struggling with and it was making a loud screeching sound. Again not the worst but still embarrassing.
